Robbie Knievel, Son of Daredevil Evel Knievel, Dies at 60 After Cancer Battle

Robbie Knievel has sadly passed away.

On Friday (January 13), it was announced that the stuntman, who was the son of the late daredevil Evel Knievel, died earlier that morning after a battle with pancreatic cancer.

According to TMZ, Robbie died in hospice care with his daughters Krysten and Karmen Knievel by his side.

Robbie – also known as “Kaptain Robbie Knievel” – followed in his father’s footsteps from an early age, jumping his bike at only 4-years-old and performed for the first time at Evel‘s show at Madison Square Garden when he was 8.

Throughout his stunt career, Robbie performed over 350 jumps, setting world records for 20 of them.

Evel died of pulmonary disease at the age of 69 in 2007.
