Cher Is Working on 2 Albums With Boyfriend Alexander Edwards

Cher is heading back into the studio.

The 76-year-old icon is working on new music with her 37-year-old boyfriend, Alexander “A.E.” Edwards, she confirmed.

In a new episode of E! News, Cher revealed her plans for her music career.

“I’m going to England to make two albums,” Cher told E! at the Carol Burnett: 90 Years of Laughter + Love taping earlier in March.

“Some of the songs Alexander gave me, so I’m pretty excited about that. He’s a producer and a writer and he does everything, so I’m happy about that.”

“I think like any artist, when you’ve got something good, you’re excited,” she teased of the upcoming music.

She added that she’s planning to tour later this year, adding, “I’m trying to get myself in shape.”
