Netflix & Ryan Murphy's 'Monster' Season 2 To Focus On Menendez Brothers

The subjects of season two of Ryan Murphy‘s anthology series, Monster, have been revealed.

In the title tease, the streamer has shared that Lyle and Erik Menendez will be the focus of the upcoming season on Netflix.

The streamer reports that in addition to the scripted series, Netflix will also has exclusive access to Lyle and Erik Menendez for a forthcoming documentary feature.

If you’re unfamiliar, Lyle and Erik Menendez were convicted for the murders of their parents, Jose and Kitty Menendez, in 1996. The two were fatally shot in their Beverly Hills home seven years earlier.

The teaser that Netflix released featured the 911 call from the murders, where Lyle is overheard crying on the phone as he tells the operator that his mom and dad have been shot.

Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story is expected to hit Netflix in 2024.
