'Queen Charlotte' Has One Of The Biggest Opening Weeks On Netflix Ever!

Queen Charlotte is breaking new records at Netflix!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the brand new Bridgerton spinoff series drew in a ton of viewers during its first week on the streaming network.

Turns out that the series, which stars India Amarteifio, Corey Mylchreest, Golda Rosheuvel, James Fleet, Arsema Thomas and more, pulled in almost 150 million hours of viewing worldwide!

148.28 million hours, to be exact, according to the reports from Netflix’s internal measurement.

The streamer added that Queen Charlotte also reached the top 10 in 91 countries and ranked No. 1 in 76 of those.

The first season of the show ranked as #4 for the best opening week list, following Ginny & Georgia‘s season 2 (180.47 million hours), The Night Agent (168.17 million) and Outer Banks season three (154.97 million).

THR added that Queen Charlotte is also holding its own against sister-series, Bridgerton.

Season two of the flagship show picked up 193 million hours of viewing in its first week, and both seasons still rank in the list of Netflix’s top 10 English-language shows all time for viewing, over the course of about a month after their release.

Queen Charlotte, which is just four days old, has a chance to land a spot in there.
