Jimmie Allen Dropped By Label; Estranged Wife Alexis Gale Files For Divorce After Sexual Assault Claims

Jimmie Allen is having a tough week.

Just hours after it was revealed that the country star was being accused of sexual assault and rape by a former manager, his music label has decided to drop him as an artist.

Not only that, but his wife, Alexis Gale, has also moved to make their split permanent.

BBR Music Group shared a statement about dropping him with Billboard.

“In light of today’s allegations against Jimmie Allen, BBR Music Group has decided to suspend all activity with him, effective immediately,” the statement reads.

According to the outlet, that activity also includes promotion on his current single, “Be Alright.”

On top of that, news also broke that Jimmie‘s wife Alexis moved to make their split a permanent one by filing for divorce.

According to ET, Alexis filed for divorce on April 28, and in the documents, Jimmie is asking for joint custody of their two daughters, and unborn child. Alexis is adding that their shared children would live mostly with her.

“Wife would show that it is in the best interest of the parties’ minor children that wife be named the primary residential parent of the parties’ minor children with reasonable parenting time for husband upon the divorce of the parties to this cause.”

Alexis and Jimmie first announced their separation just a week before the divorce papers were filed.
