Bethenny Frankel Drags Critics After She's Accused of Flaunting Supersized Engagement Ring

Bethenny Frankel isn’t afraid to stand up for herself.

The 52-year-old Real Housewives of New York City alum gave fans an up-close look at the engagement ring she received from fiance Paul Bernon in a since-deleted post on Instagram.

Her video was met with criticism from haters, and Bethenny hopped into the comments section to drag them before removing the post.

In the comments section, Bethenny told one hater that the ring “seems like it makes you feel jealous,” via Page Six. Her advice? “Talk to a professional.”

She told another person that they were “in no danger of getting” a ring as large as her own and recommended that another volunteer at a shelter.

“It’s called humor. Get a sense of it,” she told another hater.

Bethenny pointed out that social media is a place where people tend to celebrate wealth.

“This culture celebrates multi million dollar weddings in the south of France disguised as quiet. What a scam,” she wrote.

She also laughed at the irony of engaging with a post about her engagement.

It’s unclear why she ultimately decided to remove the post and when exactly it came down.
