E! reports that Joe was the one to file paperwork in the Los Angeles County Superior Court on Wednesday (July 19).

In the documents, Joe stated that the date of separation was on July 2, and cited “irreconcilable differences” as the cause of split.

The paperwork also noted that Joe and Sofia have a prenuptial agreement, and he asked the “court to confirm each of their separate property”, which will include jewelry and earnings as their own.

Another ask from Joe was that each of them will pay for their attorney’s fees.
