Maria Menounos & Husband Keven Undergaro Welcome First Baby via Surrogate - Name Revealed!

Maria Menounos and her husband Keven Undergaro have welcomed their first child – a baby girl.

The 45-year-old star spoke about the moment their child was born via their surrogate in a new interview confirming the birth news.

Maria and Keven chose the name Athena Alexandra for their baby, who was born on June 23.

“It was the most special moment of my life,” Maria told Us Weekly. “The doctor literally grabbed her and hiked her onto me. I sat with her on my chest, and Keven and I kept looking at each other like, ‘Oh, my God.’ It was just pure joy.”

About the name they chose, Maria said, “We knew we wanted a Greek name. We had a list, and everyone says when you see the baby, you’ll know, but that was totally untrue for us. We were like, ‘What do we do?’ Athena is the goddess of war and wisdom, and Keven loved the power of that name, so that was it!”

Maria and Keven got married on live TV (and we have photos of her dress!) back in 2017. In recent years, Maria has been very candid about her health struggles including a pancreatic cancer battle in 2023 and a brain tumor diagnosis in 2017.
