Scheana Shay Thinks This May Be the Real Reason Raquel Leviss Went on Bethenny Frankel's Podcast

Scheana Shay has a theory about Raquel Leviss‘ recent appearance on Bethenny Frankel‘s podcast.

Earlier this month, Raquel - who is now going by Rachel - went on the RHONY alum’s show Just B with Bethenny Frankel for her first interview since leaving a mental health facility for treatment after her affair with Vanderpump Rules co-star Tom Sandoval.

In the interview, she explained why she began the affair with Tom and also claimed that Bravo had unfairly capitalized on the scandal.

During a new episode of her own podcast Scheananigans released Friday (September 1), Scheana argued that Raquel had no real reason to address the situation and put forward a theory for why she went on Bethenny‘s podcast at all.

“That is what is so weird. Because you’re not coming back to the show, you want to change your name, you don’t want to be in the spotlight, you don’t want to come back to L.A., you don’t want to be a part of this friend group and you don’t want to speak to Tom Sandoval anymore,” Scheana said.

She continued, “But what is also interesting that I notice — and this could be a total weird coincidence — but the day the interview came out [there was] Emmy voting the next day. I don’t know that they were trying to hurt something with Vanderpump Rules but that was just a weird coincidence as well.”

Vanderpump Rules is up for two awards at the Emmys this year – Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program and Outstanding Picture Editing for an Unstructured Reality Program.
