Joe Manganiello To Host 'Deal Or No Deal Island' Spinoff Game Show Series

Joe Manganiello has been announced as the new host of Deal Or No Deal Island!

NBC revealed that the True Blood alum will be showing off his game show chops as the host of the spinoff series and is set to debut sometime in 2024.

The network shared more about the show in a release, revealing that “13 players are transported to the elusive Banker’s private island to compete for cash in a season-long, fully immersive competition.”

Contestants will still be competing for prizes, just without the sound stage.

The release says that there will be “thrilling challenges” and “mind-bending dilemmas” that the contestants will be going through, with Joe “leading the game play, relaying the banker’s tempting offers and helping them through the toughest decisions of their lives.”

As for Joe‘s hosting role, Corie Henson, Executive Vice President of Unscripted Content at NBCUniversal Entertainment, explained that “the role of Deal or No Deal host has always been held by someone charming, hilarious and devastatingly handsome.”

“When we took the show out of the studio and transported the game to the Banker’s island, Joe was the obvious choice. He loves all kinds of games, lives for adventure and isn’t afraid to stare down a snake or two to help players win a life-changing payday and, hopefully, beat the Banker at his own game.”
