Leonardo DiCaprio Finally Wins an Oscar After Six Nominations
Leonardo DiCaprio is finally an Oscar winner after winning Best Actor at the 2016 Academy Awards held at the Dolby Theatre on Sunday (February 28) in Hollywood.
The 41-year-old actor picked up the award for his work in the movie The Revenant.
Leo has been nominated five other times in the past, four times for acting and one time as a producer. He previously got nominations for The Wolf of Wall Street in 2014 (Best Actor and Best Picture), Blood Diamond in 2007 (Best Actor), The Aviator in 2005 (Best Actor), and What’s Eating Gilbert Grape in 1994 (Best Supporting Actor).
