Paul Bettany Had to Brush Up on History For 'Manhunt: Unabomber' Role
Paul Bettany had to crack open the history books for his role in Manhunt: Unabomber.
The 46-year-old actor promoted the upcoming series while making an appearance at AOL Build on Monday (July 24) in New York City.
Paul recently explained that he didn’t have much recollection of the film’s subject, Harvard grad-turned-killer Ted Kaczynski, who was arrested 21 years ago.
“I started doing the research and I realized my memory of him is just this sort of homeless hermit that you remember from those photographs,” he explained.
Paul added, “Of course, the dirt in those photographs is because he was in the middle of making a bomb at the time and actually his 10-by-8 cabin was in pretty good condition, pretty organized, and he’d lived there for 20 years.”
