Jodie Foster gave one of the most riveting speeches of the night at the 2013 Golden Globes on Sunday (January 13) and we have the video to relive the great moment.
The 50-year-old actress received the Cecil B. DeMille Award and used her speech to officially come out as a gay woman for the first time and to talk about living a private life.
“I already did my coming out about a thousand years ago back in the Stone Age, in those very quaint days when a fragile young girl would open up to trusted friends and family and co-workers and then gradually, proudly to everyone who knew her, to everyone she actually met,” Jodie said. “But now I’m told, apparently that every celebrity is expected to honor the details of their private life with a press conference, a fragrance and a prime-time reality show.”
