Ladies and gentlemen – Rihanna has arrived!

The 31-year-old entertainer and Fenty designer made a surprise appearance at the 2019 BET Awards on Sunday (June 23) in Los Angeles.

Rihanna rocked all black, leather outfit as she arrived at the event.

Rihanna attended the show to honor Mary J. Blige with the Lifetime Achievement Award.

“Mary J. Blige, you have set the bar for relatable, timeless, classic music. You opened multiple doors for female artists in this industry,” Rihanna said. “On behalf of all the women who came after you like myself, thank you for being you so we can be comfortable being ourselves.”

John Legend flashes a smile on the blue carpet as he arrives at the 2019 BET Awards on Sunday (June 23) in Los Angeles.

The a40-year-old EGOT winner looked handsome in a gray suit as he walked the carpet alongside Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus.

During the awards show, Lil Nas and Billy Ray hit the stage for a performance of their hit single “Old Town Road.”

Other stars stepping out for the awards show included DJ Khaled, Terrence J, and Meek Mill.

The married duo hit the stage to open up the show with a performance of their songs “Clout” and “Press” on Sunday night (June 23) in Los Angeles.

Later during the show, Cardi was awarded with Album of The Year for her debut album Invasion of Privacy!

The 19-year-old grown-ish actress was joined by Black Lightning‘s Nafessa Williams.

During the show, Yara changed up her outfit as she took the stage to present the Best New Artist award to Lil Baby.
