The 2022 Academy Awards have come to a close, marking the end of this year’s awards season.

The show aired on Sunday night (March 27) on ABC, and was hosted by Regina Hall, Amy Schumer, and Wanda Sykes, with lots of stars appearing throughout the night as presenters.

The event featured some historic wins and (unexpectedly) action-packed moments. We’ve compiled a list of the winners of some of the biggest categories, as well as what they’ll be taking on for their first post-win projects.

Diane Warren is opening up about her career.

The 65-year-old musician spoke with People on Friday (March 25) ahead of her appearance at the 2022 Oscars, where her song “Somehow You Do” was nominated for Best Original Song. The award ultimately went to Billie Eilish and FINNEAS for their track “No Time to Die.”

Diane, who’s been up for the same award 12 times before, shared that she’d rather lose awards and stay relevant than win and disappear.

Nicole Kidman‘s gasp was the photo seen around the world after the incident between Will Smith and Chris Rock at the 2022 Academy Awards on Sunday (March 27) night.

The fashion at the 2022 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, which took place during and immediately after the Oscars, was even better than at the main show!

Over 300 celebs stepped out on the red carpet for the event on Sunday night (March 27) at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The party kicked off before the Oscars even started so that a select group of celebs could watch the awards show during a special dinner hosted by VF‘s editor-in-chief Radhika Jones. The guests at the dinner enjoyed a meal from the popular new L.A. restaurant Mother Wolf.
