The viral video of Adam Saleh getting escorted off a Delta flight because he was speaking Arabic continues to make headlines.

The 23-year-old YouTube star filmed the incident on his phone and explained to viewers that he felt he was being treated as a terrorist merely because of his appearance and language.

In addition, some people on social media are accusing Adam of staging the entire thing because of his past with pranks on YouTube.

But he insists that it wasn’t a stunt.

“The only thing I can say is, I would never film a phone video,” Adam told the NYT. “That’s when it’s really serious, and I must film.” His video camera was in his luggage.”

Adam Saleh, a popular YouTube personality, was kicked off of a Delta flight earlier for reportedly speaking Arabic to his mother on a phone call.

The 23-year-old rapper and vlogger recorded the entire incident, which you can watch below.

“We spoke a different language on the plane, and now we’re getting kicked out,” Adam said in his video. Another passenger was clearly upset and siding with Adam, asking Delta why they were removing him.

Other passengers looked dumbfounded. Delta told BuzzFeed News, “Two customers were removed from this flight and later rebooked after a disturbance in the cabin resulted in more than 20 customers expressing their discomfort. We’re conducting a full review to understand what transpired. We are taking allegations of discrimination very seriously; our culture requires treating others with respect.”
