Paula Patton Pens Sweet Message for Late Alan Thicke

Paula Patton wrote a heartfelt note to Alan Thicke after his memorial service over the weekend.

The 41-year-old actress was married to Robin Thicke, Alan‘s son for 10 years.

“I knew Alan since I was 15 years old and he had a tremendous effect on my life. I loved and respected him so much! So many great memories and laughs together. We will miss him so much! His grandson is quite sure he is still here with us in spirit,” Paula wrote on her Instagram account.

Alan passed away at the age of 69 after suffering from a heart attack earlier this month.

Alan Thicke's Wife Tanya Breaks Silence on His Death

Alan Thicke‘s wife Tanya has released a statement about the actor’s death, breaking her silence following the untimely loss.

The Growing Pains actor passed away from a heart attack at the age of 69 last week.

“It is with gut wrenching sadness and unbelievable grief that I thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for the outpouring of love and support during this unimaginable time,” Tanya said in her statement.

“Through tears and smiles our dearest of family and friends came together at our home to celebrate the life of my sweet and devoted husband Alan Thicke. Yesterday, along with my step sons and our combined extended family, we laid my beloved husband, soul mate and the patriarch of our family to rest. We ask that you respect our privacy during this time of profound mourning,” she added.

Over the weekend, Alan was memorialized by friends and family, including the cast of Growing Pains and his son Robin Thicke.

Leonardo DiCaprio Reunites with 'Growing Pains' Co-Stars for Alan Thicke's Memorial Service

Leonardo DiCaprio, Kirk Cameron, and other stars from Growing Pains reunited on stage at a memorial service for the late Alan Thicke.

The service took place on Sunday night (December 18) and Alan‘s daughter-in-law Dolly Thicke shared photos and anecdotes from the event.

Leo and Kirk were joined by Tracey Gold, Joanna Kerns, and Jeremy Miller for the touching moment.

“We heard from our own Robin Thicke who brought up all dear dad’s best friends, Bob Saget, Bill Maher, Alex Trebek who I had no idea had such old deep ties to our family, the entire cast of Growing Pains including Leo and Kirk Cameron who I had the pleasure of meeting for the first time, along with his wife who became an instant friend,” Dolly wrote on Facebook.

Alan Thicke's Ex Provides Update on His Kids After His Death

Alan Thicke‘s ex wife Gloria Loring has provided an update about how her two sons with the actor: Robin, 39, and Brennan, 41, are dealing with his death.

“[They're dealing with it] in their own way,” Gloria, 70, told Entertainment Tonight. “I told them I was ready to come in and be with them if they wanted me there. They said, ‘Give us a day; we just need some quiet time.’ I said, ‘I’m there if you need me.’”

“Everyone has their own way of grieving,” she added.

Gloria went on to explain how she found out Alan had passed.

“Brennan sent me a text because he was on the way to the hospital. He said, ‘Dad’s had a heart attack and it’s a big deal.’ I called and spoke to him briefly and said, ‘Tell me what happened,’ and he said they’d taken him to the hospital, they were very close, they were taking him into surgery.’” And then a very short time later, Brennan texted me and said, ‘He’s gone.’”

Gloria and Alan were married from 1970 to 1984. Alan passed away on Tuesday (December 13) from a heart attack.

Alex Trebek has a special memory of his longtime friend Alan Thicke.

The Jeopardy host opened up about the late actor and how he actually got him his first big hosting job on the 1970′s game show Wizard of Odds.

They remained friends throughout the years since.

Alan was always up. There was never any sourpuss or anything like that,” Alex said. “He was always stressing the posiive things. That’s a good person to be associated with, particularly when that person happens to be as talented in so many different ways as Alan was.

Alex Trebek Remembers Alan Thicke

Leah Remini Remembers Co-Star Alan Thicke, Calls Him 'Such a Talent & Good Guy'

Hollywood is still mourning the loss of Growing Pains star Alan Thicke.

Leah Remini has now released a statement remembering her co-star. Leah and Alan recently filmed their upcoming comedy The Clapper over the summer.

“I, like many, was a huge fan of Alan and of Growing Pains,” Leah told People magazine. “In my career, I have had the luck to occasionally run in the same circles as him and he was always the guy you wanted to be around. This past July, I had the pleasure of working with Alan on The Clapper. Alan was someone that always knew your name and made you feel at home when you were in his company – even if he had just met you. He made everyone feel just a little bit cooler by being around. My heart goes out to his wife Tanya and his children Brennan, Robin and Carter.”

Leah also followed up her statement with a post on Instagram of herself and Alan along with The Clapper co-stars Ed Helms, Mickey Gooch Jr., and Tracy Morgan.

A release date for The Clapper has not been announced yet.

Alan Thicke's 'Growing Pains' Co-Star Tracey Gold Feels 'So Honored' To Have Played His Daughter

Another one of Alan Thicke‘s former co-stars is remembering him fondly.

His Growing Pains daughter Tracey Gold has released a statement after his death.

“I am in absolute shock and so unbelievably sad,” Tracey told EW. “In 1985, the Seavers became a family and Alan was our patriarch. I looked up to Alan and admired him greatly. I always listened to his advice and wisdom. He was so kind and warm and always made me laugh. He was incredibly proud that our Growing Pains days were about family, all our families.”

She added, “He was truly an amazing father. His sons were his world. Our Growing Pains family is hurting today and that will not go away anytime soon. He was so full of life. I thought we had so much time. I’m not ready to say goodbye. I am so honored to have been his daughter for seven beautiful years. I love you Alan and will miss you forever.”
