Such tragic news on Monday morning (September 20) – comedian and actor Anthony “AJ” Johnson has tragically passed away at 55.
His representative, LyNea Bell, confirmed the tragedy to THR.
“We lost an icon. He will be greatly missed,” LyNea said in a statement.
His most memorable role was in the film Friday, the 1995 movie also starring Ice Cube and Chris Tucker. Anthony portrayed Ezal in the film and instantly became a fan favorite. Anthony also appeared in movies like House Party, Menace II Society and Lethal Weapon 3.
