Beyonce has added an exciting event to her schedule for next month!

The 37-year-old entertainer will perform at the 2018 City of Hope Gala on October 11 in Los Angeles, marking her first solo performance after this summer’s On the Run II Stadium Tour.

Bey‘s husband Jay-Z will also be attending the event to help honor Warner/Chappell Music’s Chairman and CEO, Jon Platt, with the prestigious Spirit of Life Award.

“I am happy to be in a room that celebrates Jon and the important work he does behind the scenes,” Beyonce said in a statement. “City of Hope has done much needed research and has provided quality care for patients for over a hundred years. I am honored to be a part of an event that represents an organization that works so tirelessly caring for others first and foremost.”

Platt has worked with Beyonce since 2005. City of Hope is a world-renowned independent research and treatment center for cancer, diabetes and other life-threatening disease.

Pharrell Williams will be hosting the event and Jay will present the award to Platt.

Fans are able to purchase some of the limited tickets available for the gala!

Beyonce and Jay Z go a sightseeing excursion while enjoying the beautiful day on Saturday (September 8) in Sardinia, Italy.

The power couple has been celebrating Bey‘s 37th birthday this week on a private yacht and they took a little boat to a rocky island, where they viewed a shipwreck.

Bey and Jay have been seen all week long enjoying their trip to Italy!

The couple will continue their On The Run II Tour on September 11 in Texas. The tour will wrap up on October 4 after 48 total shows.

Bey looked stunning in a yellow striped set paired with a white purse and over sized sunglasses.

The couple were seen as they got off their yacht and took a stroll before heading to lunch at Hotel Pitrizza.

They have been spending time in the area to celebrate Beyonce‘s birthday, during which she wrote a touching note reflecting on the past year.

Jay-Z was seen wrapping his arms around his superstar wife while posing for photos outside of an exclusive resort on Maddalena island in Sardinia, Italy on Beyonce‘s birthday, Tuesday (September 4).

After the cute photo shoot, the couple headed aboard a yacht to continue to enjoy the day.

If you missed it, Beyonce wrote a note to her fans looking back on her “monumental” year on her birthday.

Beyonce has published a note on her website, “Your B*tch at 36,” reflecting on her past year and looking forward to 37.

“At 36, I became a mother of three. I breastfed twins. I renewed vows with my husband of ten years,” Beyonce wrote on her website. “I came back home to the stage to do Coachella, after pregnancy. Then my husband and I released our album together, Everything is Love. And we’ve been touring with our whole family around the world, and loving it.”

“This year has been monumental for me. I thank God for everyone in my life. Thank you for all the positivity and for the beautiful birthday wishes. I’m looking forward to continuing to learn from my past, living in the present and surrendering to the future,” Beyonce continued.

The newly 37-year-old pop superstar, who just celebrated her big day on September 4, was seen arriving at Hotel Cala di Volpe on Wednesday (September 4) in Sardinia, Italy.

The couple enjoyed lunch together at the hotel while on vacation in Porto Cervo, and looked like they had a nice and relaxing getaway. They were also seen snapping cute pictures of each other during a boat ride!

Beyonce looked absolutely beautiful in a long floral dress, sunhat and large glasses as she made her way out for the day. Happy birthday, Bey!
