Donald Trump Slams Arnold Schwarzenegger for Poor 'Celebrity Apprentice' Ratings

Donald Trump is clearly not a fan of The New Celebrity Apprentice or its host Arnold Schwarzenegger and he took to Twitter to slam the show for its poor ratings.

The revamped series debuted on Monday (January 2) to 4.93 million viewers and a 1.3 rating in the adults 18-49 demo, which means 1.3% of all television equipped households were tuned in. The numbers were down 43% from the premiere of Trump‘s final season as host.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Defends Donald Trump's Continued Role with 'Apprentice'

Arnold Schwarzenegger has spoken out to defend Donald Trump for retaining his role as an executive producer on The New Celebrity Apprentice while in office as the President of the United States.

The 69-year-old actor compares the situation to him earning royalty checks for Terminator while serving as the Governor of California.

“I knew from the beginning that [Trump] is executive producer on the show,” Arnold said (via THR). “It is no different then when I was governor. My credit on Terminator said ‘Arnold Schwarzenegger’ when I was governor. I made royalties. That didn’t change.”
