Netflix and Marvel has finally debuted the trailer for The Defenders, which features Jessica Jones, Daredevil, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist!

The superhero show is set to debut on Netflix on August 18, and fans have been waiting for the show for years! Charlie Cox stars as Daredevil, Krysten Ritter stars as Jessica Jones, Mike Colter stars as Luke Cage, and Finn Jones stars as Iron Fist.

Before August 18, you can binge all of the individual seasons of the superhero shows including: Daredevil seasons 1 and 2, Jessica Jones season 1, Luke Cage season 1, and Iron Fist season 1.

The cover features Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock, a.k.a. Daredevil), Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones), Mike Colter (Luke Cage), and Finn Jones (Danny Rand, a.k.a. Iron Fist) in character.

The quartet first came together to finally begin filming for the upcoming Netflix series back in December.

“Every one of them is following their own trail of bread crumbs, trying to unpack a mystery in New York,” showrunner Marco Ramirez told the mag. “We wanted them all caught off guard. Once they’re in that room together, it’s kind of like, ‘Oh, s�”, who are you?’”

Finn Jones takes the stage for the Netflix panel of Marvel’s Iron Fist held during 2016 New York Comic-Con on Saturday (October 8) in New York City.

The 28-year-old actor was joined by his co-stars Jessica Stroup, Tom Pelphrey, Jessica Henwick, and David Wenham, as well as newest cast addition Rosario Dawson, who has appeared in Daredevil and Luke Cage already.

Also in attendance were Jessica Jones star Krysten Ritter, Luke Cage star Mike Colter, Daredevil‘s Charlie Cox, and The Punisher‘s Jon Bernthal.

Sigourney Weaver joined them on stage too, as she was just announced to appear in The Defenders, in which Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist team up.

FYI: Krysten is wearing a red Salvatore Ferragamo coat.

Congratulations are in order for Charlie Cox and his girlfriend – they are expecting a baby!

The 33-year-old actor’s happy news was revealed during a panel at Toronto Fan Expo on Sunday (September 4) in Canada.

When moderator and Marvel Entertainment chief creative officer Joe Quesada brought it up, Charlie said, “Very, very soon. In fact, my girlfriend [was] pretty amused when I said I was going to Toronto a couple weeks beforehand, by the way. So, keep your legs closed.”

“Actually, I’m glad you brought it up Joe, because, I kind of feel like I’m putting you on the spot here, but one of the things she said to me before I left was, ‘If you see Joe, you have to convince him to do a Baby Daredevil drawing for us,’” Charlie added.

Charlie‘s girlfriend is rumored to be Samantha Thomas, who is also in the Marvel universe as a producer on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Jessica Jones.

The 33-year-old Daredevil star kept hydrated in the heat with a bottle of water.

A few weeks earlier, it was revealed that his hit Netflix show Daredevil has been officially renewed for a third season.

Season three will likely premiere sometime in 2017.

Marvel’s The Defenders debuted its first teaser trailer during a panel for the comic book company and Netflix’s panel at 2016 Comic-Con on Thursday (July 21) in San Diego, Calif.

The new series will bring together Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter), and Iron Fist (Finn Jones) as they face their biggest threat yet.

Teaser trailer for the upcoming Luke Cage and Iron Fist series that will soon debut on Netflix were also premiered during the panel.

It was also confirmed that Daredevil will return for a third season!

It’s official – the hit Netflix series Daredevil is set to return to the streaming service for a third season!

The renewal was announced during a panel for another Marvel television series, Luke Cage, at 2016 Comic-Con on Thursday (July 21) in San Diego, Calif.

“If you like Daredevil, there’s going to be even more Daredevil in season three,” executive producer Jeph Loeb told the crowd.

The third season will premiere in 2017 and showrunners Doug Petrie and Marco Ramirez will continue. A teaser for the upcoming season was just released and you can watch it below!
