CBS Announces New Competition Series 'Beyond the Edge' - Meet the Celeb Cast!

CBS has officially announced their brand new competition series!

During the premiere of Celebrity Big Brother on Wednesday (February 1), CBS shared the first trailer for upcoming adventure competition series, Beyond the Edge, and revealed the stars that will be competing for the cash prize for the charity of their choice.

Here’s the show’s synopsis via CBS: “For two weeks, the celebrities will see if they have the grit to withstand torrential downpours, scorching heat and deadly wildlife while living in the exotic Panama jungle. There won’t be any judges or eliminations – instead, each celebrity must rely on their inner fortitude, physical ability, and courage, and have faith in their teammates to endure in the wild.”

“For each day they last, and every grueling adventure challenge they win with their team, the celebrities will raise more money for their charities. If a player reaches their breaking point, they can ring a bell to signal that they are ready to go home. At the end of the 14 days, the top two earners will go head to head in one final adventure, to see who can become the Beyond the Edge champion and take home the most money for their charity.”

Hosted by Mauro Ranallo, Beyond the Edge will premiere on March 16 at 9pm ET on CBS, and will also stream on Paramount+.

Craig Morgan Breaks Silence on Death of His Teenage Son

Country singer Craig Morgan is opening up about the death of his teenage son Jerry Greer for the first time.

The 19-year-old died earlier this month after a tubing accident at a lake in Kentucky. The funeral was held five days ago and Craig is thanking his fans for their support during this difficult time.

“The loss of our son Jerry is the hardest thing we have ever had to endure as a family. Karen and I are so grateful for all of the wonderful people who have shown us unwavering support during this difficult time,” Craig wrote on Instagram. “There are too many to name here, but we are especially thankful for the Humphreys County Sheriff and Fire Departments, the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, and all the additional agencies and volunteers who turned out to bring our son home.”

“We would also like to thank our friends, family members, and Jerry‘s friends who have all shown us an immense amount of love and support. Additionally, we cannot thank the music and outdoor communities enough for wrapping their arms around us, as well as our industry friends, fans, and all those that loved our son,” Craig added. “We are blessed by the outpouring of prayers and condolences from across the world. Jerry may be gone from this earth, and we will miss him every day, but his spirit will live on in our hearts. We will find peace knowing that God has a bigger plan, and that one day, we’ll be reunited with him again in Heaven. John 3:16.”
