Dita Von Teese takes a sip of her cocktail while hosting a party with Absolut Elyx to celebrate her new Dita Von Teese and the Copper Coupe Tour on Monday (April 30) in New York City.

The 45-year-old burlesque star was joined by Absolut Elyx CEO Jonas Tahlin and other VIPs at the party, where they sipped cocktails out of their signature copper coupe glasses.

The new Dita Von Teese and the Copper Coupe show will be infused with glimmering copper elements throughout, inspired by Absolut Elyx and its unique copper distilling process for the luxury vodka.

The 45-year-old burlesque star is teaming up with luxury vodka Absolut Elyx for the tour, which will include special guest performers including Gia Genevieve, Dirty Martini, Ginger Valentine, Jett Adore, Zelia Rose, and more.

“It’s always a thrill to create new acts, exploring new ideas that capture the spirit of vintage burlesque that we love, but in ways that haven’t ever been seen before. It was especially enjoyable to infuse elements of Absolut Elyx’s fabulous style with the ideas for the new acts. People know me for my cocktail glass acts, so it was fun to create one around the glamorous and whimsical copper imagery that is instantly recognizable with their brand. I can’t wait for fans to see the new costumes, which are blinding sparkly, thanks to my favorite designers and Swarovski. I’m especially fired up to be bringing my show to cities I’ve never performed before!” Dita said in a statement.

Tickets go on sale to the public on Friday (February 23).

The 45-year-old burlesque dancer looked super chic in a beige dress with gold embellishments and matching heels for the launch event.

After the event, Dita was spotted leaving the event as she headed off to dinner with her friends.

The 41-year-old Black Panther actor was joined on the red carpet by fellow Marvel stars Tessa Thompson and Cobie Smulders.

Dita Von Teese was banned from performing her Burlesque act as scheduled at Bette Midler‘s Halloween event last night.

Bette‘s annual Hulaween event to benefit the New York Restoration Project was held on Monday (October 30) at Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City, and the Bishop of New York stopped Dita‘s performance.

“I’m not performing anymore. The church banned me…Reverend Andrew M. L. Dietsche pulled the plug and said, ‘No… there is no burlesque performance in a church,’” Dita told Variety. “I have performed in a lot of churches all over the world, but they are all venues and this is a real church, so I can see their point.”

The legendary actress hosts a Halloween party every year to benefit the great cause and she hosted some of Broadway’s best this year.

Bette was joined at the event by future Hello, Dolly! stars Bernadette Peters and Victor Garber, as well as Tony winner Ben Platt. Her daughter Sophie von Haselberg was there too!
