Elisabeth Hasselbeck is not pleased that her former The View co-host Rosie O’Donnell will reportedly be joining the show again – so much so that she paused her vacation to rant about the situation!

“What could ruin a vacation more than to hear news like this?” the 37-year-old reporter called in to Fox & Friends morning show to share. “I know Rosie very well. We worked quite closely. Talk about not securing the border! Here in comes to The View the very woman who spit in the face of our military, spit in the face of her own network, and really in the face of a person who stood by her and had civilized debates for the time that she was there, coming back with a bunch of control ready to regain a seat at the View table.”

“I don’t think it would be wise for Rosie O’Donnell to challenge Whoopi Goldberg on anything,” Elisabeth added. “I really don’t.”

Elisabeth Hasselbeck gave her final goodbye’s to the ladies of The View and their extended nationwide audience in an emotional farewell speech during her last day on Wednesday (July 10).

The 36-year-old television personality left the show after ten years to head to Fox & Friends as Gretchen Carlson‘s replacement.

“I’m really happy and excited that I will be joining the Fox & Friends team in September… Thanks for everyone who’s been out there watching. The past ten years have been nothing short of extraordinary,” Elisabeth said, after going around to her co-hosts Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, and Barbara Walters and saying what they meant to her.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck has decided to exit The View and replace Gretchen Carlson on Fox & Friends.

The 36-year-old Survivor contestant turned anchor will make her last appearance as co-host on The View tomorrow (July 10).

“For a decade, Elisabeth Hasselbeck has brought her passion and strong beliefs to The View. We watched her journey from newlywed to motherhood, an Emmy® Award-winning talk show host, author, entrepreneur and activist. She stood behind her political views even if they were not the most popular opinions at the table never shying away from voicing a difficult question. We thank Elisabeth and wish her luck as she begins this new chapter of her career,” ABC said in a statement.

The View co-host and exec producer Barbara Walters added, “When Elisabeth survived Survivor we wanted to make sure she would stay afloat. We have had 10 wonderful years with her and she will now be swimming in new waters. We will miss her and wish her everything good.”

UPDATE: Barbara Walters made a statement on The View today, saying Elisabeth will not be leaving. “The truth is we love Elisabeth…We have no plans for Elisabeth to leave the show.”

Elisabeth Hasselbeck is reportedly not returning to The View next season, Us Weekly reports.

The 35-year-old co-host of the show has been around for nine years, but unfortunately, viewers did not find her views appealing, according to a source.

“The viewers they polled all said she was too extreme and right wing,” an insider said. “People did not watch the show because of Elisabeth. So they told her yesterday her contract would not be renewed.”

The news comes off the heels of Joy Behar‘s announcement that she would not be returning to the show after sixteen years.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck gave birth to her third child on Sunday afternoon (August 9) at a New York hospital.

The 32-year-old co-host from The View and her husband, former NFL player Tim Hasselbeck, named their new son Isaiah Timothy, 7 lbs. 7 oz.

The couple also has a daughter Grace Elisabeth, 4, and son Taylor Thomas, 20 months old.

The new dad tells AP, “Elisabeth and Isaiah are doing great.”

Sarah Palin denounced the story that a wardrobe worth $150,000 was purchased for her in September, saying the report was “ridiculous” and declaring emphatically, “Those clothes, they are not my property.”

“Instead of the issues, they are focused, fixated on her wardrobe,”Hasselbeck said. “Now, with everything going on in the world, seems a bit odd. But let me tell you, this is deliberately sexist. I know you know that.”

After the rally in Florida, Palin headed to Asheville, a city in the Appalachian region of North Carolina.
