Ellen Page is celebrating one year of marriage to wife Emma Portner!

The 31-year-old actress posted a sweet note on her Instagram on Tuesday (January 8) dedicated to her wife after the two got married in the beginning of January 2018.

“Before/after of an over one year anniversary convo. Beyond grateful to all those who fought to allow us to be wife & wife. I love this magical human. I’m so f–king lucky. ❤️🏳️‍🌈❤️,” she captioned the post, which featured pictures of the two before and after having an emotional conversation.

The first teaser for Netflix‘s upcoming superhero show The Umbrella Academy has been released!

Here’s the synopsis: On the same day in 1989, forty-three infants are inexplicably born to random, unconnected women who showed no signs of pregnancy the day before. Seven are adopted by a billionaire who creates The Umbrella Academy and prepares his “children” to save the world. Now, the six surviving members reunite upon the news of their father’s passing and must work together to solve a mystery surrounding his death. But the estranged family begins to come apart due to their divergent personalities and abilities, not to mention the imminent threat of a global apocalypse.

The show based on the comic book series created by Gerard Way stars Ellen Page, Tom Hopper, Robert Sheenan, Emmy-Raver-Lampman, David Castaneda, Aidan Gallagher, and Mary J. Blige.

Ellen Page and Mary J. Blige took the stage at 2018 New York Comic-Con!

The co-stars stepped out to promote their upcoming show The Umbrella Academy on Friday (October 5) at Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City.

They were also joined by their cast mate Tom Hopper, Robert Sheehan, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Aidan Gallagher, David Castañeda and Cameron Britton.

The series is based on the comic books by My Chemical Romance singer Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá and follows a family of strange superheroes named the Hargreeves.

The Umbrella Academy is set to hit Netflix on February 15th.

Ellen Page is tackling a scary subject!

The 31-year-old actress appeared on The IMDb Show to discuss her upcoming zombie movie, The Cured.

“It’s the zombie movie after the zombie movie you’re use to seeing,” she says of the movie. “It involves a part of the affected being cured, and sort of introducing the affected back into society.”

She also revealed how she’d handle the situation if it were real life: “I would really love to think I would be able to bring in a loved one, but I think a part of why these movies are compelling for people…is because we do question what ethic and moral compromises would we make.”

Ellen Page shares a sweet kiss with her wife Emma Portner while attending the special screening of her latest film The Cured held at AMC Dine-In Sunset 5 on Tuesday (February 20) in Los Angeles.

Ellen – who turns 31 today (February 21) – was also accompanied by the film’s director David Freyne as they promoted the thriller, which is set to hit theaters on Friday.

Ellen and Emma announced that they officially tied the knot in January via Instagram.

“Happy birthday to the love of my life. You’ve made me better,” Emma captioned with her Instagram post. “Let’s get olllllld @ellenpage 💝 (hair by @hairbyjohnd makeup by @tobyfleischman)”

The newlyweds announced the big news on Instagram with a photo of their rings, as well as a few other pics of each other through their love story.

“Can’t believe I get to call this extraordinary woman my wife. @emmaportner,” Ellen wrote as the caption on her Instagram photos.

Emma, a dancer, captioned her Instagram pic, “I get to call this incredible woman MY WIFE! @ellenpage I LOVE YOU!”
