Finn Jones takes the stage for the Netflix panel of Marvel’s Iron Fist held during 2016 New York Comic-Con on Saturday (October 8) in New York City.

The 28-year-old actor was joined by his co-stars Jessica Stroup, Tom Pelphrey, Jessica Henwick, and David Wenham, as well as newest cast addition Rosario Dawson, who has appeared in Daredevil and Luke Cage already.

Also in attendance were Jessica Jones star Krysten Ritter, Luke Cage star Mike Colter, Daredevil‘s Charlie Cox, and The Punisher‘s Jon Bernthal.

Sigourney Weaver joined them on stage too, as she was just announced to appear in The Defenders, in which Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist team up.

FYI: Krysten is wearing a red Salvatore Ferragamo coat.

On the heels of the massive success of Luke Cage, Netflix and Marvel just announced the release date of their next superhero collaboration: Iron Fist!

Here’s a synopsis of the show: Fifteen years after being presumed dead in a plane crash, Danny Rand (Finn Jones) mysteriously returns to New York City determined to reclaim his birthright and family company. However, when a long-destined enemy rises in New York, this living weapon is forced to choose between his family’s legacy and his duties as the Iron Fist.

Look out for the 13-episode season one of Iron Fist on March 17, 2017.

Game of Thrones star Finn Jones has officially been confirmed to star as Iron Fist/Danny Rand in the new Netflix TV series.

“Danny Rand is a very complicated character. He’s a billionaire New York Buddhist monk martial arts superhero who’s still trying to figure out what exactly that all means. Finn is able to play all these levels in such an honest, revelatory way that as soon as I saw him I knew he was our Danny,” executive producer and showrunner Scott Buck said.

“Finn wonderfully blends confidence with vulnerability, making him the perfect choice as he struggles to find his place in the world. Now that we’ve found our Danny Rand, we’ve completed our principal cast for the upcoming Defenders on Netflix and we are thrilled to continue to show audiences unexplored corners of the Marvel Universe,” Marvel TV’s Jeph Loeb added.

Iron Fist is the final of four Netflix/Marvel shows, which also include Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage.
