Chris Evans has revealed the movie role he wished he didn’t miss out on!

“Remember the movie Fracture with Ryan Gosling and Anthony Hopkins? That was my movie, man! That was my movie,” the 35-year-old Captain America star expressed on the red carpet while attending the 2016 GQ Men of the Year Awards on Wednesday (November 16) in Sydney, Australia.

“It was a long time ago. I didn’t have much of a career going for me at the time, but I had a really good audition and I met with the director and I loved the script, I loved the role,” Chris added. “Obviously if you’re going to lose to someone, lose to Ryan Gosling, but that was something I really wanted.”

Also in attendance at the ceremony was Suicide Squad co-stars Scott Eastwood and Jai Courtney and his girlfriend Mecki Dent, Jon Hamm and Luke Bracey.

Rebel Wilson is a bombshell in red while attending the 2016 Australians In Film Awards Gala held at NeueHouse Hollywood on Wednesday night (October 19) in Los Angeles.

Jai Courtney is all smiles while posing alongside his girlfriend Mecki Dent at his Haute Living Cover Celebration Dinner presented by Tanquery at Republique on Wednesday (September 21) in Los Angeles.

“I think the dream of actors is that we don’t ever box ourselves into something explicit,” the 30-year-old Suicide Squad star told the mag. “But I’ve been working for a few years now, and I’ve worked on some great stuff and it’s nice to shake it up a little.”

The 30-year-old Suicide Squad actor recently opened up about doing reshoots for the film.

“I was a little pissed off by all the reports,” Jai told Business Insider. “The rumors around us having to inject levity into it and all this sh–. It was silly because the movie already had all that. All we did was shoot a big action sequence that was changing the shape of another one we had already shot.”
