Julia Louis-Dreyfus stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Tuesday (February 11) and took a shot at President Donald Trump.

The Emmy-winning actress was on the show to talk about her new movie Downhill and she also reflected on her show Veep and how it relates to Donald Trump.

“I feel like he’s doing a far superior version of our show [Veep], except that it’s not even remotely funny. It’s deadly serious,” Julia expressed, adding that she misses the show. “I mean, I miss it too. It was just gods of fun and good times.”

On her movie Downhill, which hits theaters on Friday (February 14), Julia said: “We all think we would stay. But what this movie is about [is that] good people make bad choices. How does one redeem themselves [after that moment]?” she said before host Stephen threw in a joke, “It’s a great Valentine’s Day [movie] if your relationship is very solid.”

New York Fashion Week brings the stars together!

Blake Lively, Issa Rae and Julia Louis-Dreyfus all looked gorgeous as they posed for photographs while arriving at the Michael Kors FW20 Runway Show on Wednesday (February 12) in New York City.

Blake and the ladies all sat in the front row together while other celebrities like Logan Browning, Justine Skye, Leigh Lezark, Hannah Bronfman, Harley Viera-Newton, singer Natti Natasha and models Jessica Gomes and Camila Coelho also took a seat in the front as well.

Just last night, Issa Rae celebrated the premiere of her new film The Photograph with co-star LaKeith Stanfield ahead of its Valentine’s Day release date.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus keeps it chic and sophisticated while attending the discussion of her upcoming film Downhill held at the 92nd Street Y on Monday (February 10) in New York City.

The 59-year-old actress was joined at the event by her co-star Zach Woods, co-director Jim Rash and event moderator Bruce Fretts.

Julia serves as a producer and devoted five years to the comedy project, hiring the writer (Jesse Armstrong) and directors (Nat Faxon and Jim Rash) and overseeing casting while she developed her own character.

“It was hyper-important to me that Billie was not just a great mother always doing the right thing,” Julia revealed about her character (via InStyle). “That there were gray areas and that she was a very well-rounded person.”

For the second year in a row, the Oscars will be presented without a host. Joker leads the pack with 11 nominations and Grammy winner Billie Eilish is set to give a special performance. Tune in for the show at 8pm ET/5pm PT on ABC.

Julia opened up about the Super Bowl and President Trump‘s major error when he congratulated the state of Kansas on the Kansas City Chiefs’ win, instead of Missouri where the team is from.

“I have to tell you. If I were doing Veep right now, it would be really fun to script those 12 minutes between him launching the tweet and it getting deleted,” Julia said. “What an idiot! It’s so humiliating.”

When Ellen asked if Trump makes her miss doing Veep, she said, “It does and it doesn’t. I mean, I have to say, I think he’s doing a better job of our show, except to say that it in fact isn’t even remotely funny. It does make me miss it. It was super funny. It’s just hard to compete with that crap.”

Timothee Chalamet will join Gal Gadot, Mark Ruffalo and Lin-Manuel Miranda as a presenter at the upcoming 2020 Oscars next month.

The four stars join a handful of other stars who are set to present on stage during the big awards night.

Zazie Beetz, Will Ferrell, Mindy Kaling, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Anthony Ramos, Kelly Marie Tran and Kristen Wiig will also be presenting at the ceremony, Deadline reports.

The Academy just recently revealed that the Big 4 winners from last year – Rami Malek, Olivia Colman, Mahershala Ali, and Regina King would also return to present at the event.

Will Ferrell and Julia Louis-Dreyfus happily strike a pose together while hitting the carpet at the premiere of their film Downhill held during the 2020 Sundance Film Festival at the Eccles Center Theatre on Sunday (January 26) in Park City, Utah.

The 52-year-old actor and the 59-year-old actress were joined at the event by their co-stars Zach Woods, Zoë Chao, Miranda Otto and Kristofer Hivju.

Will Ferrell was also accompanied by his wife Viveca Paulin who came out to show her support.
