It was a mother daughter day for Jessica Simpson and her eldest daughter, Maxwell Johnson.

The twosome were seen arriving together for the PetSafe event held at the Century City Mall on Friday afternoon (August 25).

The event was held in honor of International Dog Day, and PetSafe turned the mall into a dream dog park featuring water attractions, toys and more for a perfect play day.

Jessica and Maxwell also brought one of their 8 dogs, Penny.

Speaking to Extra at the event, Jessica gushed about Maxwell following in her musical footsteps.

“She has an unbelievable voice,” she shared of her daughter.

Jessica then added that once she goes out on tour next year, she’ll let Maxwell “test some waters.”

Jessica Simpson has the support of her family on her big day!

The 42-year-old singer and businesswoman was joined by husband Eric Johnson and their three kids daughters Maxwell, 10, and Birdie, 3, and son Ace, 9, at the launch of her Jessica Simpson’s Fall Collection on Saturday (September 24) at Nordstrom at The Grove in Los Angeles

During the event, Jessica met with fans and signed autographs while the LA Roller Girls gave a fun-filled performance.

In a recent interview, Jessica talked about how she’s been “draining her bank account” and how her credit card was recently declined during a stop at Taco Bell.

The 40-year-old singer, fashion designer, and author took to Instagram on Saturday (December 26) to share a whole bunch of photos while celebrating Christmas with her family.

Jessica shared photos making cookies with daughter Maxwell, 8, and son Ace, 7, while also sharing photos of her youngest daughter Birdie, 21 months, in her different Christmas outfits.

In a pic taken by hubby Eric Johnson, Jessica showed off her fit physique while rocking red and white Christmas pajamas.

“So I thought Eric was taking a photo from the waist up… 🤪” Jessica captioned the pic.

Jessica Simpson‘s daughter Maxwell is already eight-years-old and she’s a singer just like her mom!

The 39-year-old entertainer took to Instagram to share a video of her and Maxwell singing “This Little Light of Mine” on her birthday.

“Today my first born, Maxwell turned 8. She has more light in her soul than anyone I’ve ever known and shines far brighter than any star in the galaxies. She is a gift to everyone who knows her and deeply connects to those she has never met and prays for every night,” Jessica wrote on her Instagram account. “Maxwell inspires me to be unapologetically myself in every way. She has taught me that I don’t have to be perfect by continually reminding me I’m perfect for her.
