Michelle Branch and fiance Patrick Carney have some exciting news – their baby boy is here!

The 35-year-old singer and the 38-year-old Black Keys drummer welcomed their son Rhys James Carney into the world on Tuesday night (August 28) at 11:48pm.

“Patrick and I are over the moon in love with our son Rhys James Carney,” Michelle wrote on Instagram with the adorable pic seen below.

Rhys weighed in at 8lbs, 13oz. and measured in at 20 inches.

This is the second child for Michelle, who has a 13-year-old daughter Owen with her ex-husband. This is the first child for Patrick.

The 34-year-old musician took to Instagram on Thursday afternoon (February 8) to announce that she and her 37-year-old Black Keys drummer fiance are expecting a baby!

“Well, we were just about to send out Save The Dates for our wedding in May when we got this little surprise ❤️ Baby Carney is happening this summer and Patrick and I couldn’t be more excited! xx,” Michelle captioned the below video of her ultrasound.

Michelle is already mom to 12-year-old daughter Owen with ex husband Teddy Landau.

Michelle and Patrick have been dating since February 2018 and he popped the question on Michelle‘s 34th birthday back in July.

Michelle Branch and Patrick Carney are officially engaged!

The 34-year-old singer and 37-year-old Black Keys drummer made things official during Michelle‘s birthday party on Sunday night (July 2).

Michelle took to her Instagram to share the happy news, along with a photo of the ring.

“Thank you for all the birthday love and wishes. Last night, right before I blew out my candles, @officerpatrickcarney asked me to marry him and then I had nothing left to wish for ✨❤️ 34 might be the best year yet,” Michelle wrote.

Michelle and Patrick met in at a Grammys party in February 2015 and began songwriting together and recording her latest album, Hopeless Romantic.

She was previously married to her bassist Teddy Landau for 11 years but separated in 2014 and later divorced. They share an 11-year-old daughter named Owen.

The track, along with the official lead single and “Best You Ever,” is off the 33-year-old singer’s upcoming third studio album – her first studio album since 2003′s Hotel Paper – titled Hopeless Romantic, and is set to hit stores on April 7.

“It’s one of my favorites. For me, the song is really about that point in a relationship where you know it’s past the point of fixing,” Michelle told HelloGiggles. “It’s beyond repair and you’re watching it unravel before your eyes. You enter with the best intentions, but no matter how hard you try or care about one another, somehow you still hurt each other.”

Following its premiere last week, Michelle Branch unleashes the official music video for her brand new song “Best You Ever“!

“It was kind of my, for lack of better comparisons, it was kind of my “Are you happy now?” on this album,” the 33-year-old singer told Refinery29. “It’s definitely a breakup song and I think there’s often times when you break up with people when you want to be like ‘You’re gonna regret this. You don’t realize how good you have it. You’re gonna miss me some day.’”

“This video is really behind the scenes,” Michelle added. “Basically, the whole thing was shot in my home studio in Nashville so it started as like a behind the scenes studio video and it developed into something more. It’s fun.
