Delphine also released a statement on the matter, writing, “I regret the lack of dialogue and support the company showed Munroe around the time of the termination. We should have also done more to create a conversation for change as we are now doing…We support Munroe’s fight against systemic racism and as a company we are committed to work to dismantle such systems.”

Munroe has joined the brand on their newly-formed diversity and inclusion advisory board, and also revealed the brand has donated €25,000 to Mermaids and €25,000 to UK Black Pride, two organizations that support people of all genders, sexualities and identities.

Munroe Bergdorf Calls Out L'Oreal For Their Blackout Tuesday Post

Munroe Bergdorf is not happy with L’Oreal Paris right now.

The model called the beauty brand out on social media following their Black Lives Matter post in support of Blackout Tuesday.

“Excuse my language but I am SO angry. F*** YOU @lorealparis,” Munroe shared on Twitter.

“You dropped me from a campaign in 2017 and threw me to the wolves for speaking out about racism and white supremacy. With no duty of care, without a second thought,” she added. “I had to fend for myself being torn apart by the world’s press because YOU didn’t want to talk about racism. You do NOT get to do this. This is NOT okay, not even in the slightest.”

L’Oreal‘s message in support of the movement said that “speaking out is worth it”.

The post on Instagram added that the brand “stands in solidarity with the Black community, and against injustice of any kind. We are making a commitment to the @naacp to support progress in the fight for justice. #BlackLivesMatter.”

Fans continue to call the brand out on their post about Munroe.

Munroe made headlines in 2017 for becoming the first transgender model to be featured in a British campaign, and then fired her for speaking out against white supremacy demonstrations in Charlottesville, Virginia.
