Ricky Martin is preparing to defend himself in court.
The 50-year-old “Livin’ La Vida Loca” music superstar is set to appear before a judge in Puerto Rico regarding allegations made by his 21-year-old nephew.
The singer is set to appear via Zoom before a judge on Thursday (July 21) to deny the claims that he and his nephew had a sexual relationship, via TMZ.

Ricky Martin‘s brother Eric Martin has spoken out to deny the allegations made by their nephew.
It was alleged that Ricky had a seven-month sexual and romantic relationship with his nephew Dennis Yadiel Sanchez, who filed a domestic abuse restraining order against the singer.
The order of protection stated that they had a volatile breakup and that Dennis feared for his safety as he was allegedly being harassed by Ricky.
Ricky‘s lawyer has spoken out to deny the allegations, calling them “disgusting” and “untrue.” Now, Eric Martin‘s comments have surfaced and he actually opened up in a Facebook Live chat before the allegations were ever made public.

Ricky Martin‘s lawyer is speaking out in response to the allegation that the singer was having a sexual relationship with his nephew.
A domestic abuse restraining order was filed against Ricky earlier this month in Puerto Rico and it was revealed today that the order was filed on behalf of his nephew.
A report alleged that the nephew ended a seven-month relationship with Ricky and the singer “did not take it well, consistently reaching out to him and loitering outside his home,” according to Yahoo.
Ricky reportedly is facing up to 50 years in prison if proven guilty in the case.

Some shocking new developments in the Ricky Martin case have been revealed.
It was previously reported that Ricky, 50, was the subject of a domestic abuse restraining order that was filed in Puerto Rico. The police attempted to issue the restraining order, but were unable to locate him.
At the time, the accuser’s name was kept secret and Ricky also spoke out to deny the allegations.

Ricky Martin is speaking out against the allegations in a domestic abuse restraining order filed in Puerto Rico.
On Friday (July 1), police attempted to issue the 50-year-old entertainer a restraining order after a complaint was made under Law 54, also known as the Domestic Abuse Prevention and Intervention Act, per the Georgetown Journal of Gender and the Law.
Due to the nature of the bill, authorities did not reveal the name of the person who filed the complaint.
When the police went to the upscale neighborhood where Ricky lives, they were unable to locate him.

Ricky Martin is being sued for $3 million by his ex-manager, Rebecca Drucker.
Rebecca was Ricky‘s manager two separate times, in 2014-2018 and again from 2020-2022. In legal documents, she claims his “personal and professional life [were] in absolute turmoil.”
The complaint was filed with the L.A. Central District Court and cited that Rebecca helped facilitate “recording contracts, touring and sponsorship deals, and other professional endeavors. With Rebecca at his side, Martin made millions of dollars and therefore owes Rebecca substantial commissions.”
