Newlyweds Katharine McPhee and Nick Cokas depart from Maui airport on Monday after soaking in the sun during their honeymoon in Hawaii.
American Idol judge Simon Cowell recently dissed McPhee after she was dropped from her label. He told Extra, “Didn’t care much about Katharine McPhee. I didn’t think she was a particularly credible recording artist. Katharine will end up on Broadway!”

Also just because someone fails album wise does not mean that they are no good. She was not marketed well and that is no fault of hers. She definitely has a better voice than Kelly and Rihann who both now have won grammys.

If Kat is bland, not attractive, fat and has bad boobs…I don’t think any of us should leave our homes..because compared to her..I’m guessing we’re all really unattractive. Katharine RULES!

people go to broadway not because they want to, but because they have no where else to go. broadways a step up from performing at karaoke bars and apple bees on friday night.

Sorry but for me she’s not really that cute. I agree with number one on some things, but she more like married her dad. I’ve seen her without her face on and she is no beauty, cute for some, at best.
Katherine McPhee isn’t a great singer. She’s average. America picks people based on stupid reasons and after they show they don’t even want to buy their stuff because it’s crap.
I doubt she’ll even end up on Broadway to be honest. Simon was being nice.
