OlderChris Martin Brings Coldplay to NYC

Chris Martin of Coldplay performs at Madison Square Garden on Monday night in New York City.
The New York event was the third of three free shows, after similar gigs in London and Barcelona. The band had given away over 7,000 tickets through its website.
Last Thursday, Coldplay, led by frontman Chris Martin, 31, scored their first U.S. number one single. They also topped the U.S. album chart.
Some celebrities came out to enjoy the concert, such as Chris Rock, Charlize Theron, Stuart Townsend, and Molly Sims.

i was at the show. it was an hour and 10 minutes with no encore. overall it was a good show, i would have said a great show if there had been an encore.
i wish i had won tickets…..but congrats number 6

I was at this show yesterday, which was overall really amazing. Though it was only an hour long which reallyyy pissed me off, but it was for free so perhaps it was too expensive to have it longer. they didn’t play the Scientist which was a let down, but Coldplay are still amazing musicians, and i’m STILL in love with Chris Martin haha.

When they first came out I fell into the hype but since then I woke up. They are soooooo oooooooverrated and HYPED that it’s not funny.
That new song sound horrible. Yet the PR people try to brainswash everybody into thinking it’s all that and it’s not. Look at how he and Gwyneth use to put the US down. Now when they have something to sell here they come grinning through their croked teeth so they can make money off the US. Then run back and bad mouth the US later.
