Gwyneth Paltrow is Zagat-Obsessed

Gwyneth Paltrow picks up 2-year-old son Moses from school in London on Thursday afternoon.

Last week, the 36-year-old actress shared some of her favorite websites via her GOOP newsletter: “The only one that is not free is [restaurant review guide] Zagat, which I have an obsession with. I literally do not go out to eat until I reference it (it’s a thing I may need to get over). I love Epicurious and Chow for other foodie-related things. For off-the-beaten-track home and kitchen things, I like the Handpicked Collection and CB2, as well as Williams-Sonoma and Divertimenti. Sometimes I window shop on Net-a-Porter or Matches when my kids are asleep.”

Gwyneth Paltrow: Fun Times With Mr. Potato Head

Gwyneth Paltrow takes a smiley stroll around the block with 2-year-old son Moses in London on Thursday afternoon.

Moses stayed warm in Appaman’s puffy coat in jet black and carried around his classic, face-changing friend, Mr. Potato Head. Buckets of fun for everyone!

The mother-of-two recently revealed her choice for the office as the November election heats up, telling Glamour, “It is crucial that we elect a president who will make women’s health a priority. For his entire career, Barack Obama has stood up for women in this way… [John] McCain has voted against requiring insurance to cover birth control, and he’s opposed funding for education about emergency contraception (EC). McCain has voted against what is best for women’s health 125 times. This year I’ll be voting for a champion of women’s health care, and a champion for my daughter’s future.” More Here! »

Coldplay - “Viva La Vida” Music Video

Chris Martin and his band Coldplay released not one, but two (!!) music videos for their new single, “Viva la Vida”, off their latest album of the same name.

One is a video directed by Hype Williams, whose work you may recognize from Dr. Dre’s “California Love”. The other is a video cover version that the band themselves “made out of love for Depeche Mode and the genius of Anton Corbija.”

Whether you like one music vid over the other–one thing’s for sure–”Viva la Vida” is one strongest tracks the band has ever produced. Check out both music videos below!

WHAT DO YOU THINK of Coldplay’s latest music videos for “Viva La Vida” — YAY or NAY?

Chris Martin is a Zoo Keeper

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, aka Mr. Gwyneth Paltrow, watches his two children, Apple, 3, and Moses, 2, as they ride on a mini-carousel at a London Zoo on Saturday.

Chris, 31, was accompanied by his brother, Al (striped shirt), and the kids’ nanny.

Coldplay has secured their first UK number one single with “Viva La Vida”, the title track from their new album. The single’s success is based solely on downloads from the internet because no hard copies have been sold yet.

“The Coldplay success story just keeps getting bigger,” said spokesman Gennaro Castaldo. “‘Viva La Vida’ is one of [UK] HMV’s biggest-ever selling downloads.” More Here! »

Chris Martin: I’m Still Trying To Live Up To Brad Pitt

Coldplay’s Chris Martin is happily married to Gwyneth Paltrow– they even have two kids together. But somehow, Chris still feels like an underdog.

“You’ve got to be hungry,” he tells Rolling Stone. “If your wife went out with Brad Pitt, you’d want to prove yourself, you know what I mean?”

Brad, then 31, and Gwyn, then 22, started dating in 1995 after they met on the set of the thriller Seven and got engaged in November 1996. Their two-and-a-half-year relationship ended in June 1997.

Also in the Rolling Stone article, Chris mentions that he sees reason for hope: “As soon as Barack Obama becomes president, people will be a bit more optimistic. If Obama was to be president, it would immediately change the whole outside world’s opinion of America overnight. America’s public image at the moment is really bad. And it’s a bummer, because over half of Americans are the coolest people on the planet. But they’ve been so misrepresented… But I think that, really, the fair thing would be, in electing the American president, to let everyone in the world vote, because it affects all of us. If there was a world vote, there’s no question who would win. No question. Of course, Barack Obama is human like the rest of us. He’s going to f— up. But I’m just trying to look on the bright side. What’s the point of being negative? Where does that get us? It gets you your own radio chat show, but it doesn’t really do anything for the world.”

Moses Martin: Baby on Boat!

Gwyneth Paltrow and a mystery male takes her kids Moses, 2, and Apple, 3, out for a boat ride over Mother’s Day weekend in Capri, Italy.

Moses and Apple’s father is “Violet Hill” singer Chris Martin of the English rock band Coldplay.

Gwyneth, 35, has been busy the last few days shooting the new ad campaign for Italian label “Tod’s”.
