Coldplay: 'Everyday Life' Album Stream & Download - Listen!

Coldplay‘s new album Everyday Life has arrived!

The new double album is separated into two halves – Sunrise and Sunset, each with eight songs. The album’s cover image is based around a 1919 photo of guitarist Jonny Buckland’s great-grandfather’s band.

Don’t expect to see Chris Martin and the rest of the band on tour to promote the album as they have announced they will not tour again until it’s environmentally friendly to do so.

You can download the album now on iTunes or stream it below thanks to Spotify.

Coldplay Won't Be Touring Again Until It's Environmentally Friendly

Coldplay‘s Chris Martin gave an interview and while their album, Everyday Life, is hitting the Internet in just a few hours, they won’t be touring soon.

“Our next tour will be the best possible version of a tour like that environmentally,” Chris said, relaying that their tour would not move forward unless it is environmentally friendly. “We would be disappointed if it’s not carbon neutral. We’ve done a lot of big tours at this point. How do we turn it around so it’s not so much taking as giving?”

“We’re taking time, over the next year or two, to work out how can not only our tour be sustainable, but how can it be actively beneficial? How can we harness the resources that our tour creates and make it have a positive impact?” he continued.

He continued, “Our dream is to have a show with no single-use plastic, to have it be largely solar powered.”

If you missed it, find out where Chris and his girlfriend Dakota Johnson were last seen together.

Chris stopped by Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show Future Sounds to premiere the new songs where he also chatted about the new album.

“It’s all about just being human. Every day is great and every day is terrible…It just feels kind of free. There’s so much life bursting out on the planet,” Chris shared. “[The album] is our reaction to the perceived negativity that’s everywhere. Coldplay Announce New Double Album with Old-Fashioned Teaser!

It looks like Coldplay have new music arriving sooner than you think!

Frontman Chris Martin and his bandmates have sent out a letter to a variety of fans across the globe that reveals they will release a double album on November 22 – split into two halves called ‘Sunrise’ and ‘Sunset’ respectively.

The letter was a typewritten note delivered directly in the mail: “Dear friends,” the note from Coldplay reads, “my typing isn’t very good I’m sorry / I and we hope wherever you are you’re ok / for the last 100 years or thereabouts we have been working on a thing called Everyday Life / in the classifieds you might write ‘double album for sale, one very careful owner’ / one half is called ‘sunrise’, the other ‘sunset’ / it comes out 22 november / it is sort of how we feel about things / we send much love to you from hibernation / chris, jonny, guy and Will Champion, esq.”

The group’s label Atlantic Records confirmed the double album, but had no further comment, according to Billboard.
