'Madame Web' Swings to Second Place in Box Office Behind 'Bob Marley: One Love' After Holiday Weekend

Madame Web is swinging in at second place after a disappointing opening weekend at the box office.

The movie, starring the likes of Sydney Sweeney and Dakota Johnson pulled in a meager $26.2 million over its first six days at the box office.

The showing put it behind Bob Marley: One Love, the musical biopic starring Kingsley Bel-Adir.

Dakota Johnson is revealing whether or not she has seen Madame Web!

The 34-year-old stars as Cassandra Webb in the Marvel Movie. Sydney Sweeney, Isabela Merced, Celeste O’Connor, Emma Roberts, and Adam Scott are also part of the cast.

Madame Web‘s opening days have been pretty rough, with the film receiving a 13% critic approval rating and a 54% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes.

Dakota Johnson‘s new comments about her movie Madame Web might explain why she decided to sign on for the project, which is now getting very poor reviews.

The 34-year-old actress just stepped out on the red carpet for the Mexico City premiere on Tuesday night (February 13) at Cinemex Antara Planco in Mexico.

Dakota was joined by director SJ Clarkson and co-star José María Yazpik.

Sydney Sweeney, Emma Roberts & More Join Dakota Johnson at 'Madame Web' L.A. Premiere - See Red Carpet Photos!

The stars of Madame Web stepped out together for the L.A. premiere!

Dakota Johnson was joined by co-stars Sydney Sweeney, Emma Roberts, and more for the film’s red carpet premiere on Monday night (February 12) at the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood, Calif.

Also in attendance were Isabela Merced, Celeste O’Connor, Adam Scott, Tahar Rahim, and Zosia Mamet, as well as director S.J. Clarkson.

Madame Web tells the standalone origin story of one of Marvel publishing’s most enigmatic heroines. The suspense-driven thriller stars Dakota as Cassandra Webb, a paramedic in Manhattan who develops the power to see the future… and realizes she can use that insight to change it. Forced to confront revelations about her past, she forges a relationship with three young women bound for powerful destinies…if they can all survive a deadly present.

The movie hits theaters on February 14.
