Lance Armstrong: Live Strong & Cycle More

Lance Armstrong is reportedly coming out of retirement next year to compete again and attempt to win the Tour de France again!

According to reports, the 36-year old will have no salary or bonuses for his racing. He will reportedly compete in five races with the Astana team, although his manager Mark Higgins has not responded to questions. The Astana spokesman has also denied that their team has any plans with Lance.

    He said in an interview that is was so hard to not be the center of attention, like a lot of retired athletes used to accolades that suddenly go away, and to see all of Sheryl Crow’s success and her performing to loud, cheering fans really hurt his ego. That was part of why he had to break up with her — that and she wanted a family and he didn’t.

    So I can see him going back, just to hear the cheers again. He doesn’t know who he is as a person — just as a famous athlete.
