OlderMaggie Gyllenhaal: Ramona is a Great Dancer!
Maggie Gyllenhaal steps out in a pair of Mayle boots and YSL pants after making an appearance on The Late Show with Davie Letterman on Monday (December 21).
On tonight’s episode, the 32-year-old actress will promote her new movie Crazy Heart, in theaters NOW. It has so far garnered a very impressive 91% from Rotten Tomatoes!
While prettied up in a Lanvin jumpsuit and Louboutin shoes, Maggie told Dave that her and husband Peter Sarsgaard‘s 3-year-old daughter Ramona wants a green flamenco dress for Christmas — and she’s probably going to get one!
“Ramona is a great dancer!” Maggie proudly told the audience.

I just saw again TDK yesterday. Maggie was so much more believable and sexy than Katie in Batman!
JJ, I would like to see pics of Ramona!! Is she wearing on a daily basis some dancer high heels as Suri is? Probably not! But I bet Maggie ‘s daughter is really dancing, contrary to Suri which is only posing.

She has the loveliest smile and eyes. Interesting person.
I think Maggie’s a fabulous actress, both quirky and naturally stunning. She really put’s herself in the character. My fave performance of hers was Secretary, where she was incredibly sexy.
On another note, any of Katie Holmes latest roles were either favors owed by someone to her Tom Cruise OR the roles were purchased for. Katie Holmes cannot not pass an audition.

Maggie’s never been nominated for an Oscar – but I hope that changes asap.
When I read this, I thought of Katie Holmes as well. I bet no one would bash Maggie if her daughter is seen in her Flamenco outfit. What a double standard, as usual.
p.s. I actually like Maggie and agree that she is an interesting and quirky actress.

To cinderella: Maggie Gyllenhaal was a more mature Rachel Dawes than Katie but anyways the later was not difficult to beat because katie was god awful in batman begins, stretched face and vacant smile. The batman movie has done nothing for her career and she has hardly any at this point in time. She’s far too weak an actress to carry a movie. you can’t live on people wanting to see because you have become like an animal in a cage at the zoo that people maybe want to see out of curiousity, not acting substance.
Maggie is publicity-shy, she has a real life that she’s oh-so-discreet about, she’s elegant both morally and from a fashion view, and on top of that she has a real heterosexual gorgeous husband and a daughter that I would love to see pics of!!
…sigh… that face… damn. sigh. sad.

Maggie is a beautiful woman! Not an extraordinary beauty if you judge by current New York fashion standard of beauty, she is not that customized model package, she looks NOTHING like a fashion model. But she a dazzling clear blue eyes but mostly that serene yet sophisticated quality.
She’s one of those women that has an unusual but very existent sex appeal.

Love Maggie. I really hope she gets an Oscar nod.. and I just re-watched Secretary the other day as well as Sherry Baby and was blown away again. Amazing actress.
And if Maggie let Ramona wear a flamenco dress in public it would be on the way to or from dance class.. not on the way to the park for a planned “aren’t we a happy family” photo shoot. Unlike those who shall not be named.. Maggie and Peter protect the privacy of their child as much as they can while providing her a normal upbringing.
This is the oldest looking 32 year old EVER! And her frumpy style doesn’t help matters at all.
The movie had a great script, now we’ll see what they did with it.
