OlderJessica Simpson: Off to See the Troops!
Jessica Simpson signs autographs for fans outside the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in New York City on Wednesday (September 29).
The singer-actress-designer, 30, was later spotted at LaGuardia Airport catching a flight out of town.
No word on her exact destination but Jess will be meeting up with military members!
“Off to spend spend some quality time with the troops. Can’t wait 2 hang with our angels on earth. I’ll b tweetin’ pics and messages from far away,” she tweeted.

How does Papa Joe always get the first comment up so fast? And why would the troops want a visit from a brain dead blubbery tree stump, wouldn’t they prefer a female, even a hot one? This is obviously a sad attempt by Jessica to look like a decent person in front of photographers, and the shameful thing is that taxpayers money will be used to protect this waste of space. I’m writing a letter of complaint to my local rep.
