Overall, one of the best Harry Potter movies of all time!!! I loved how they pretty much followed the book! Even the most random scenes were pretty hilarious! I don’t think I can wait until July to see the next half!!! :)

  • Is-Gollum-in-Harry-Potter-7th?

Corporate America has brainwashed all of you that chip in this gross figure. Blindly throwing awy your money for a brand and what did you get in return..a crap movie about 2 hrs of HP and friends walking in a forest.. and ripping off the Gollum character in 1 scene..IT’S ENOUGH NOW..the milk is dry

just a heads up, I’d think about going to see it on your own and then deciding whether or not its ok for your kid.

I know they say this every movie, but this one TRULY is the darkest/scariest one of them yet. Its really not for kids. Quite a few people took their kids and left during the movie because it was so scary : (

  • Jokergurl

Yeah, this Harry Potter’s not for young kids, i but there’s always some idiot who takes 4 and 5 year olds to movies that they shouldn’t be taking them to. I went to see The Dark Knight and this couple had their 4 year old there and she was hiding in the seat every time the Joker came on screen and crying.

I’m proud to say I saw this wonderful movie TWICE and I can’t wait to see it again!

I’m so proud of the trio. This is the first time they’ve actually had to carry the film by themselves without the support of the other Hogwarts students and professors and subplots. It was all them and they did a BRILLIANT job. All three of them.

The second time I saw DH part one, there were a couple of younger kids there. During the Godric’s Hollow scene, every single adult in that theater jumped and/or screamed…so I felt sorry for those kids. lol. I think one of them actually started crying and the mom took him/her out.

This is film is definitely not for kids. It’s very adult and I doubt anyone under the age of 12 would actually be able to keep up with what’s going on.

  • magicglow

    wow! The witch looks fabulous!

Harry Potter is the best .. the movie was definitely the darkest of the entire series. some very frightening scenes, I’m 19 and that scene with the old woman that withered and turned into that snake, yeah it freaked me the hell out!
Still love it, and Rupert Grint (who plays Ron) stole the entire movie, his acting carried the whole movie.

  • nena

The most awesome movie of all 7… I am so proud of their performance, although I was sorry to hear Radcliffe comment on not ever performing again as HP. I think he should wear the name high and proud since if not for HP he wouldnt be as famous as he is now. Congrats to all the producers and people behind this movie completely eXceeded my expectations =D

  • Inno

When is the other adult version of Harry Potter going to be released?

  • GG

Part 2 comes out in July.

  • Inno

@GG: Are you serious???? Can’t wait till July!!!!!!!!! Thank you.

  • GG

    You’re welcome. I know :/

  • Celia

Lets not get carried away. Big films like these never get Oscar noms for acting. Emma was brilliant though. This film made me more excited than ever to see her future acting career.

DH part one should definitely get some technical nominations though like Visual Effects, Cinematography, Makeup, Art Direction, Score, etc.

whoever said not for younger kids i took my 5 & 11 yr old twice & they both liked it…we all read the books so they knew the story & if they didn’t understand something we discussed it after the movie specially the kissing scene but all in all it’s OK for kids if the parents help them understand what’s going on…we all jumped at some of the scenes but the little one didn’t cry i did more than a few times LOL! great movie!
