OlderLeighton Meester's Mom Drops Lawsuit
Leighton Meester bundles up while leaving the set of Gossip Girl on Tuesday (December 13) in New York City.
The 25-year-old actress, along with co-stars Blake Lively and Ed Westwick, braved the chilly weather to wrap up some scenes for their CW show.
Leighton‘s mom, Constance Meester, recently dropped her lawsuit, in which she claimed $3 million in damages and alleged she had “sacrificed her happiness” to support her daughter’s acting career.
THR reports that Leighton will now be able to “obtain a default judgement that states her mother is not her manager and not due any support payments.”

Isn’t sacrificing some happiness part of the job of parenting? And didn’t L’s mom spend time in jail while her daughter was a child and needed her? What a sorry excuse for a mother. Glad L. doesn’t have to pay her for her “services”.

WHAT?! I mean, WHAAAAAT? Her mom asked for 3 million $ for WHAT?! omg. “Sacrificing her happiness”, SERIOUSLY?! And I often complained about my own mom!!!!! God. Some things in life make you see how ungrateful you can be and how you don’t appreciate sweet things we do have! Love you mom!
