'Chronicle' Tops Box Office

Sci-fi action film Chronicle took the top spot at the box office this weekend, bringing in $22 million.

Second place went to Daniel Radcliffe‘s The Woman in Black, which just missed first place with $21 million, Variety reports.

Liam Neeson‘s The Grey, which took first place last weekend, slipped to third place with $9.5 million but still maintained a strong presence.

Drew Barrymore and John Krasinski‘s Big Miracle took fourth, with $8.5 million.

Kate Beckinsale‘s Underworld: Awakening took fifth place, edging out One for the Money.

    Yeah probably because youtube harassed everybody with it in their stupid ads, we all want to know what the hell it was.

    saw Chronicle on Friday night it was so AWFUL. but saw Men On The Ledge on sunday it was AWESOME !

    I saw it today and as predictable as it was, I was still thoroughly entertained.

    I saw The Woman in Black with a group of 6 friends and it scared the crap out of all of us. It’s a really great film and I’m proud that it did so well over the weekend, especially considering it’s an Indie film.

    I thought Chronicle was a very, very good movie. First movie I’ve liked in a long time.

    That’s ironic, as Chronicle got excellent reviews from critics, while “Man on a ledge” got awful reviews.
