Hilary Duff: Labor Was 'Very Easy'
Hilary Duff makes an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in an episode airing Friday (May 11).
The 24-year-old singer and actress gushed about her 1-month-old son, Luca, and opened up about his “very easy” delivery.
“I went into labor at about 1 in the morning and I very calmly had my bags packed and woke my husband up after about 3 hours of walking up and down my hallway. Then I’m like ok, it’s time to go, let’s go now,” Hilary recalled.
“I’m like my call my mom. Call my sister [Haylie]. You know get them all in here,” she added. “Things start rolling. All of the sudden the doors bust open and my sister and my mom come flying in and they’re like, ‘We got barbeque chips and root beer guys.’ I’m like what? I’m pushing … like they were just arriving for a show with their chips and their root beer!”
Ellen gave away over $8,000 in giveaways to all of the expecting mothers in the audience! They received amazing gifts like the Britax Baby Carrier, B-Safe Infant Seat and Boulevard 70-G3 convertible car seat! They also received the high-tech 4moms mamaRoo baby swing as well as the Origami stroller that folds with the push of a button!
