OlderSofia Vergara's Mother's Day Video From Manolo
Sofia Vergara‘s hair blows in the wind as she leaves her hotel on Saturday (May 12) in New York’s SoHo neighborhood.
The night before, the 39-year-old Modern Family star met up with gal pal Jessica Alba, who was also in NYC.

In honor of Mother’s Day, Sofia‘s son Manolo Gonzalez created a sweet video tribute compiled of home movie footage.
“What I’m most proud of… is that she hasn’t changed,” Manolo says in the clip. “She has her career and she still managed to raise me at the same time – that’s pretty great. Is my mother a good mother? Yes, she’s the best. She’s Latin, of course, which means she’s very loud, very overprotective… She’s a loud Latin mother who calls my name repeatedly! Happy Mother’s Day, I love you.”

I think Sofia Vergara is a very strong and brave woman. She raised her son by herself and it looks like they have a very strong realationship. As she said in one of the interviews: “because I was a single mom I didnt have the luxury of going to bed and being depressed..” I mean she knew thatthe future of her son and her family’s well-being depended on her. He accomplished a lot and still managed to stay so positive! I see her as a real role model for single mums and women in general!

How can you not love Sofia? She’s one of the few female celebrities that makes others feel happiness with her humor. You always hear these Kardashian girls complain about this and that when their problems are self-inflicted. And here, you can see that Sofia was a single mother, who struggled in Hollywood at first, and she did everything for her son. She could’ve just married a rich guy and lived happily ever after but she did it on her own. Very admirable.
And looking at those home videos…my gosh, she is stunning!
