Dakota Fanning is cool in coral on the red carpet at the 2012 AFI Life Achievement Award ceremony honoring Shirley MacLaine held at Sony Pictures Studios on Thursday (June 7) in Culver City, Calif.
The 18-year-old actress paired her Gucci dress, belt, shoes, and bag with Cartier bracelets and Neil Lane rings.

Also in attendance at the celebration: Julia Roberts, who starred alongside Shirley in the 2010 romantic comedy Valentine’s Day.
The AFI Life Achievement Award tribute to Shirley MacLaine will premiere on TV Land on Saturday, June 24 at 9/8c.

LOVED Steel Magnolias, such a tearjerker movie and Julia was great in that movie, she was so unknown and fresh. LOVE seeing JR with her Steel Magnolias “mom” Sally Field both honoring Shirley who was also great in the movie. If Dolly Parton and Olympia Dukakis were there, it would have been a true Steel Magnolia reunion…that movie had many great parts and the acting was superb, I recommend it to anyone.
