This is one of my favorite songs on the album. I’m glad he performed it even if MTV censored out every other word.

when is he going to actually sing? never. because he can’t without he child’s version of a karaoke machine. he can’t hold a note.

That was the second worst performance at the VMA’s.

He is an artist, MTV people are about visuals and shows, he did that now he is going beyond, oh and he can sing, need to check his other live performances. It’s not always about arranging your breath it is what the experience it gives.

I know he really rubs some people the wrong way but you have to give props when props are due. He’s been around for a long time and he is undoubtedly one of the most articulate rapper/producers in the genre of hip hop. Blood on Leaves is just some complex stuff….he somehow manages to tie in infidelity, divorce, slavery, sacrificing love for fame and other images. His decision just to perform this rap completely shadowed with a simple backdrop was a good move. I’ll take him any day over the manufactured groups that have just obliterated the music scene.
