Jake Gyllenhaal Reveals His Injured Hand on 'Ellen Show'

Jake Gyllenhaal makes an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, airing on Monday (December 9).

The 32-year-old actor showed off his injured hand that he hurt when punching a mirror while filming a scene for his upcoming movie Nightcrawler.

“That was a mixture of excitement and also horror,” Jake joked when he showed his hand to the audience. “What actually happened was I was banging on the gate, Ellen, Ellen, Ellen. (Trying to come to the show) like that and I cut my hand. And one of the people working on your show was nice enough to take me to the hospital. Which was nice of them, ya.”

During the episode, Ellen also showed off her holiday card with wife Portia de Rossi, which is a spoof of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West‘s “Bound 2″ video.
