Hugh Jackman: New 'X-Men' Has 'The Best Script of All of Them'
Hugh Jackman holds onto a cup of Starbucks coffee as he heads to the gym with a friend for his daily workout on Tuesday (February 25) in New York City.
The 45-year-old actor recently opened up about being able to play Wolverine again for his highly anticipated film X-Men: Days of Future Past.
“I feel blessed to have this part. I never thought in a million years I’d get to play him seven times,” Hugh expressed (via Den of Geek). “I get to walk on set with the claws and the hair, and I thank my lucky stars. I don’t take anything for granted.”
“To think that the seventh movie has this cast and this director, and I would say the best script of all of them, it’s pretty amazing,” Hugh continued. “That’s why I’m still here. I’m sure, by the way, that it won’t always be my decision to be here. At some point someone will close the door on me. That will happen. But for now I’m very happy.”
