Apple's Tim Cook Attends Pride Event After Being Outed as Gay

Apple CEO Tim Cook poses with one of his employees while attending the 2014 San Francisco Pride Parade on Sunday (June 29) in San Francisco, Calif.

The 53-year-old businessman was accidentally outed as a gay man by CNBC host Simon Hobbs just two days prior during a panel discussion about the lack of openly gay CEOs in large companies.

While Tim has widely been reported to be gay, he has never formally come out or spoken directly about his sexual orientation in public.

At the pride parade, thousands of Apple employees wore specifically designed pride shirts and handed out iTunes gift cards for a free song download. How cool!
