Eddie Redmayne Reacts to 'Theory of Everything' SAG Awards 2015 Nomination

Eddie Redmayne is over the moon about his 2015 Screen Actors Guild Awards nomination.

The 32-year-old British actor is up for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role for his portrayal of Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything.

“To be nominated by my peers, and to be included in a list that is comprised of so many actors I admire, is an incredible honor,” Eddie said in a statement. “And to be recognized alongside Felicity [Jones] and my castmates means the world. Huge, huge thanks to SAG-AFTRA; I am beyond grateful.”

This is the second time Eddie‘s been recognized. He was nominated back in 2012 with the cast of Les Misérables for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.

I really hope he will win over the overrated cumberbatch! That guy is every wear, it’s now unbearable, like he is the only good actor around! Eddie offers a stronger performance!
